We created documents with detailed notes on LBJ’s personal and political history. Such documents included but were not limited to the following: bio / political timeline / legacy / MLK / Vietnam War / quotes and tidbits. Specific acts of legislation were given special attention and these documents offered not only details on the what the legislation entailed but its history, famous quotes made around them, LBJ’s connection to the particular act, his obstacles getting it passed, who benefited from the act as well as potential individuals who would be good to interview in regard to the act. We researched and logged archival elements photos, videos and audio files.
We built an extensive list of potential interviewees, people who were directly related to the storyline as well as individuals who had a surprising and unique connection to the narrative.
Through our research we helped build a potential narrative that would be relatable to the target market.
